AVP Atlanta Open

WHAT: 

Men's and Women's Professional Beach Volleyball

 

The Atlanta area will play host to a professional beach volleyball tournament of 

the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) Series, welcoming 

more than 100 of the top athletes in the sport.

 

The AVP is comprised of the best men's and women's pro beach volleyball players in the U.S. 

and arguably, the world. 

 

The AVP's main goal is to deliver its fans the experience of an amazing athletic contest surrounded by an unforgettable beach party. 

In Year Two of its three year Atlanta Open - one of the most exciting events ever to take place in Atlantic Station - the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Pros will once again be ready to light up Atlantic Station. If you enjoyed the event in 2006, you'll be even more amazed in 2007 as the events play out on over 4 million pounds of sand brought in especially for the AVP. It's sun, fun and the California beach lifestyle, right here in Atlanta and in Atlantic Station.
