These camps will give participants the opportunity to improve skills and learn new ones. Designed for those who want to learn and practice the
individual and team skills involved in volleyball. Players will be taught the correct way to serve, pass, set, hit, block and dig the ball.
Participants will practice these skills with fun drill and game situations, lead by an experienced coach and assistants.
Beginner/Intermediate Camp

Beginner/Intermediate fun program is one hour long Monday-Friday for campers who have none or limited volleyball experience. This 5-day camp will focus on learning and practicing the correct fundamental techniques of volleyball. Participants will be taught correct methods from a maximum of ball contacts with feedback from an experienced coach. Fun is stressed with this group and competition used for encouragement. Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt; camp will be held at Fisher Middle School gym. Participants are encouraged to bring water bottle.
Intermediate/Advanced Camp
4689.301 Volleyball Camp-Intermediate/Advanced 11-16 years M-F 4:00-6:00PM Fisher Gym 07/27-31 $99
This camp will give participants the opportunity to improve skills and learn new ones. It is designed for participants who have experience playing on school or club teams or who want to maximize their chances of making a team. The camp will include a combination of drill and game situations to learn the skills necessary to be a successful volleyball athlete. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, and are encouraged to bring water bottles. Camp will be conducted at Fisher Middle School Gym.
Volleyball camp instructor: Tom Jack has over 17 years of coaching experience, including 7 years as LGHS Boys Volleyball Coach, over 15 years of teaching adult
volleyball classes, and 14 years of conducting youth summer volleyball camps; along with collegiate and high school staff.

NO CAMPS FOR 2009
Stanford Volleyball Camps for Boys and Adults have been cancelled for the summer of 2009. This is only a one year hiatus. We will be returning for the summer of 2010 with exciting new camp formats.
The new dates will be posted by January 1, 2010. The boys camp will continue to be around the start of August.

Kim Oden's Summer Volleyball Clinics - Newark
Come on out and share the court with Kim Oden, a Stanford graduate, two-time Olympian ('88 & '92),
St. Francis High School volleyball coach (2 time State Champions) and former Stanford University assistant coach.
This instructional and fun volleyball clinic will include individual skills work as well as team offense and defense work.
