"We are very happy to play again in Brazil where we believe was the place where, together with southern California, beach volleyball was born. Besides that, during this tournament we played against five Brazilian teams and all the matches were very difficult. Our main concern is that Brazilians players are very young and they are learning very fast", said silver Olympic medalist Michael Dodd.

"This was the first time we play against Dodd and Whitmarsh and for us it was like a very good class. I am sure we have learned a lot and that will help us to improve our techniques. And soon we will be in the first place", said second place finisher Guilherme.
