NVA TO ADD EXPANSION TEAMS IN AUSTIN, TEXAS AND
MADISON, WISCONSIN FOR '98 SEASON

NEW WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAMS ANNOUNCED

SAN DIEGO, CALIF., (Mar. 13, 1997) - The National Volleyball Association, the premier women's professional indoor volleyball league, has experienced tremendous success during its fourth season by averaging more than 1,200 fans per match. Now the NVA plans to showcase its talent with expansion into two new cities; Madison, Wisconsin and Austin, Texas.

"Both cities have tremendous volleyball markets." stated Gary Wyma, Vice President. "We are looking forward to building sucessful professional programs in both areas."

The NVA will have a minimum of eight teams and a maximum of 10 for the 1998 season. Details regarding the league's expansion plans will be released at a later date.
