(n)= FIVB World Ranking as at 15th January 2000 DRAWING OF LOTS A drawing of lots ceremony will be held during the 27th FIVB World Congress in Seville at 9am on Thursday 3rd August to determine the order of matches in pools A and B in the preliminary round and the draw will be conducted in accordance with the Berger Table. SOCOG has chosen, within the allocated deadline, two matches in each preliminary pool per gender in accordance with its rights as the organiser of the 2000 Olympic Games. Following the completion of the draw on
Thursday 3rd August, the results will be transmitted to SOCOG to complete
a final proposal to the FIVB for the daily timetable of matches including
times and venues. It is envisaged that the final Competition Calendar
including exact venues and times will be made available by latest 11th
August 2000. |
