GRAND SLAM: Shupryt-Knoop has competed in 29 grand slam events and is 16th in earnings ($39,774.50). Shupryt-Knoop had a third-place finish in the Nationals with Deb Richardson in 1993. Shupryt-Knoop was fifth with Elaine Roque at the 1996 U. S. Open. Shupryt-Knoop posted a shootout fourth with Elaine Roque in 1996. She was eighth in the 1993 Top of the Tour. Shupryt-Knoop and Richardson were fourth at the 1994 Best of the Beach.

PERSONAL: Shupryt-Knoop's parents are Bob and Ginger Shupryt. She has seven brothers (Bill, Mike, Bob, Chris, Ron, Joe and Tom) and two sisters (Jennifer and Lynne). She was married May 24, 1986, in Miami, Fla., to Steve Knoop. The Knoop's had their first child in February, 1994 (Brooke). Her hobbies are reading, gardening and cooking.
