With one of the most toned bodies on the beach and the most impressive resumes of any female player in history, three-time Olympian Holly McPeak had her most memorable seasons to date after taking home the first-ever bronze medal in Athens at the 2004 Summer Olympics alongside former partner Elaine Youngs. Closer to home, she captured her 72nd career win giving her the new record as winningest player on the women's side, a record originally set by Karolyn Kirby.
The leading lady in Pro Beach Volleyball history, Holly also commands the records for career tournaments played and career prize money with more than $1.3 million in earnings.
Stateside, Holly and Elaine captured four titles on the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour throughout the 2004 season and has been named AVP Best Defensive Player for three years in a row (2002-2004).
Already a true Pro Beach Volleyball legend, the 2006 season will mark Holly's 15th year playing professional beach volleyball.
A graduate of UCLA with a BA in English Literature, Holly was named All PAC-10 and ALL-NCAA Team in 1990. In 1990, she attended UC-Berkeley where she was voted NCAA Freshman of the Year and helped lead her team to the NCAA Championship.
Holly was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California and currently resides there.
