IRVINE, California --- More than 200 web sites around the world including Volleyball World Wide are now linked into the new Big West Volleyball Radio Network for the launch of play-by-play broadcasting of NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball on Friday, September 26th when the Nevada Wolf Pack host the Idaho Vandals.

"We are very excited about the exposure this will give to women's volleyball. The ability for fans from around the world to be able to listen, live and at no charge, to national caliber volleyball will certainly enhance our efforts to promote the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Championship in Spokane on Thursday, December 18th and Saturday, December 20th," said Donna Noonan, NCAA Director of Championships."

"The Big West is thrilled to be linked with the popular USA TODAY Online website," said Big West Commissioner Dennis Farrell. "We're excited about this new marketing effort going on to promote Big West Volleyball and look forward to the increased exposure for our members."

The Big West Volleyball Radio Network is hosted by The Cable Radio Network and sponsored by PowerBar. Olympic sportscaster Jeff Ruffolo will handle the play-by-play with Mitch Lehman providing the color commentary.

Satellite dish owners throughout North America can listen to the programming by tuning to Galaxy 5, Transponder 2, Audio Channel 7.235.

The Big West Volleyball Radio Network is also accessible via Audionet, the broadcast network on the Internet. Updates from each broadcast will be available worldwide on The Armed Forces Radio and Television Service.
